About Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is the third-most-common type of cancer in the US and the leading cause of cancer-related death for both men and –women. Consequently, efforts have been underway for decades to find an effective cancer screening method.
Lung cancer is often first discovered as a lung nodule on chest x-ray or CT scan. However, not all lung nodules are due to lung cancer.
