Edward Menacho
Eddie Menacho is a graduate from CSUSB and the PA Program at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. From the inception of his career, Eddie has always had a passion to serve his community. In his undergraduate career, Eddie was a leader in various clubs, created the first pre-medical conference in the Inland Empire, served as a Congressional Intern in Washington D.C, and received the Presidential Gold Volunteer Service Award. Upon matriculating into USC, Eddie took on a role at an underserved clinic in Skid Row, Downtown LA. Here, he led a team that provided an interprofessional approach to healthcare for the homeless. In 2017, as Eddie served as a National Medical Fellowship Health Scholar in Boston, MA. As a fellow, Eddie worked for the worlds leading homeless healthcare organization, Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Here, Eddie learned how to provide street medicine with one of the founders of the field, Dr. Jim O’Connell. Soon after, he would later find himself being chosen to be the first PA student to work with the USC Street Medicine team in Los Angeles. Now, back to serve his community in the I.E, Eddie works for Riverside Community Hospital in Critical Care.
