Muhammad Nouman Iqbal, MD

Dr. Muhammad Nouman Iqbal, MDDr. Muhammad Nouman Iqbal completed his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation (CCF) and practiced at CCF for 2 years before proceeding with a fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Iqbal’s main areas of interest are evaluation and treatment of pulmonary nodules, interstitial lung disease (ILD), pulmonary hypertension and sleep-related disorders. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians and American Association of Sleep Medicine, and has presented his research at national and international conferences. He is trained in various procedures i.e. bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Endotracheal Intubations, Thoracentesis, Chest tubes and Ventilation management and is an expert in managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Dr. Iqbal is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California Riverside where he enjoys teaching and mentoring residents and medical students rotating at Riverside Community Hospital and at PPMG’s outpatient clinic.

Dr. Iqbal is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He is very excited to be part of Pacific Pulmonary Medical Group and is proud to work with such a fantastic team of practitioners.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
