Kashif Yaqub, MD

Dr. Kashif YaqubDr. Kashif Yaqub completed his Internal Medicine residency at Banner-University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. While serving as a chief resident, he also completed a fellowship in Quality and Patient Safety. In addition to receiving training in the clinical aspects of patient safety and health services research methodology, he provided monthly education to medical attendings, residents, and support staff. Dr. Yaqub then pursued a Pulmonary Medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, which was followed by a Critical Care fellowship at Loma Linda University.

At Pacific Pulmonary Medical Group, Dr. Yaqub practices the full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care medicine, with a special interest in lung cancer and pulmonary nodules. He is specially trained in complex bronchoscopic procedures including endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy.

As an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California Riverside, Dr. Yaqub enjoys mentoring and teaching residents, as well as medical students. He is a member of American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.

During his spare time Dr. Yaqub enjoys playing squash, traveling, and spending time with his family.
